Janet Reger was a British Lingerie designer born in the East End of London in 1935. After becoming a freelance designer, she worked for popular companies such as Marks & Spencer, Rosy of Paris and Slix swimwear.
Her own brand was founded in 1966 with her husband Peter Reger. She is now credited with reviving lingerie and restoring its purpose after the swinging sixties movement almost wiped it out. By the mid-1970's Reger was fitting celebrities, including David Bowie, for her silk pajamas.
Duffy provided various images for the Reger lingerie catalogs which were collected and published in the 1980 book "Chastity in Focus."
