Days at Sea is the last of the three books created by Ralph Gibson which make up what has become know as the “black trilogy “. The somnambulist 1970 and Deja Vu 1973 make up the complete trilogy.
This book continues and completes the dream sequence started by Gibson with the publication of the Somnambulist. Perhaps the most provocative of his trilogy, Gibson continues to use sequence to guide us through time and space ending, perhaps, as the jester starring at a page made almost blank and an open sea.
